March President’s PRoclaimer Message

By FPRA Orlando President Valerie Moses, MBA

Spring is in the air!

This time of year symbolizes growth, renewal and fresh starts - all themes that resonate deeply with our chapter. These themes took center stage earlier this month at PR Paid Forward, hosted in collaboration with PRSA Orlando, when members of both chapters came together to provide pro bono PR counsel for local nonprofit organizations.

As communicators, we have the power to use our skills and expertise for good. Our work can help organizations amplify their messaging, expand their reach and spark positive change in the world. When we come together to share our time and talent in this way, magic happens. Thank you to all of the committee members and volunteers who made this event possible. Our community shines brighter because of you!

What types of events are most important to you? We’ve launched a survey to learn more about your professional development and networking interests so that we can continue to bring you first-class programming. Please take a few moments to share your feedback with us. Your input is invaluable as we continue to elevate the PR profession here in Central Florida.

On behalf of FPRA Orlando, I would like to extend my gratitude to Rollins College and their Master of Arts in Strategic Communications program for their continued dedication to our chapter. Through the dedication and support of sponsors like Rollins College, we are able to enhance our impact and make a meaningful difference in our industry.

Thank you to all of our members for making our chapter and our community great. Our members are the driving force behind our collective success, and I’m inspired by the work that you do.

Warmest wishes,
Valerie
